Dame Caroline Spelman MP has recognised the vital role that West Midlands farmers are contributing to the economy, the countryside and food production as she pledged to Back British Farming at an event in Westminster this week.
Meriden MP, Dame Caroline Spelman, launched a fresh campaign to improve the frequency of peak trains from Berkswell following news that London Midlands will cease as operators of the regional rail network from 2018.
Residents in Castle Bromwich are voicing their opposition to new proposals which would see the changes to the northbound flight paths for Birmingham International Airport. Around 45 residents met on Thursday 17th August at St Mary and St Margaret’s Church Hall to discuss the impact of the plans. Solihull Councillor Mike Robinson and Meriden MP, Dame Caroline Spelman were also in attendance.
